Work in our interdepartmental lab centers around questions on neural coding, neuromodulation and neural correlates of memory processes. We study these processes in the olfactory system. We work on rats and mice and use computational, behavioral and electrophysiological tools.

The lab is associated with the departments of Psychology and Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University and is affiliated with the graduate fields of Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, Neurobiology and Behavior and Psychology. The lab is run by Christiane Linster, (Associate Professor, Neurobiology and Behavior) and Thomas Cleland (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Psychology).
